Mr. Mahad Abdirahman Abdi is an experienced professional with a strong academic background in accounting and extensive fieldwork across humanitarian and administrative roles. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from SIMAD University, where he developed a solid foundation in financial management, data analysis, and organizational reporting.

Mahad currently serves in the Office of the Night Shift Manager, where he oversees operations, ensures continuity of services, and coordinates key administrative functions during night hours. His role requires strong leadership, decision-making, and the ability to handle emergencies with calm and efficiency qualities he consistently demonstrates.

Before assuming his current position, Mahad gained valuable field and administrative experience working with several well-recognized international and local organizations, including IRC (International Rescue Committee), World Vision, Gareedo Foundation, and ACTED. Throughout these roles, he worked in various capacities that involved community support, program coordination, data management, and reporting—strengthening his skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement.

With strong computer and accounting skills, Mahad is proficient in financial software, data entry, budget preparation, and spreadsheet management. His ability to merge accounting knowledge with operational management makes him an asset in both financial and administrative environments.
